Task Three – Pre-production Planning

Carefully investigate your production requirements and then complete all necessary pre-production documentation. You will find the link to download all documents on the blog.  

Contingency Plan Name: Semilore Ogunlowo Production: CBeebies Animation

Potential problems and how to overcome these problems:    If the weather is really poor on the day we plan to do our filming, we will change the date to a week after and check if it is fine by the owners of the locations we will be using.     If the equipment breaks down due to carelessness or other reasons, we have to borrow a camera. If we do not find one as good as the school one we would have to manage in order to make sure we get our filming done.     If one of our props gets missing, the whole crew must be ready to contribute a token in order to get it replaced.      If our location is closed on the day we plan to film we have to choose another day and confirm  the location will be open for use.

Robert Clack Lower School  - The first location for this advert is Robert Clack lower school media classroom,we have access to lots of stationery for artwork,good lightning and is very spacious.  Access to location via: See map on next page Name and number of location contact: Robert Clack Lower School – 02082704222

Health and Safety Issues to note: ·       General public – need to make sure no one trips over the equipments ·       Crew needs to stay together so no one gets lost ·       Make sure there are no sharp objects on the field that could cause injury for the person cat walking

Potential Filming Problems: ·       Lack of electricity supply – will need to use fully charged batteries at all times ·       We cannot use artificial lights in one of our locations so we have to shoot on a day that is very sunny. ·       We need to be sure the drama students do not need to use the studio while filming because this might slow down our filming process. ·       Make sure we film before bell goes to avoid noise from students walking past.
